Southern Hills Animal Hospital aims to provide quality medical care to its patients. Our services include exams, vaccinations, diagnostics, hospitalized treatment, surgical services, boarding, and dentistry for cats, dogs and pocket pets. The philosophy of Southern Hills Animal Hospital is to offer the highest standard of medicine and preventative care while tailoring the services rendered to the individual client and patient. As such, client education will be emphasized to help owners better comprehend their pet's medical status, so they can make informed decisions about their pet's care.
Southern Hills Animal Hospital is a new facility in southwest Las Vegas operated by Dr. Sara Blakesley, who has been practicing in the Las Vegas area for almost 12 years. She graduated from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2003 and moved to Las Vegas, NV in June of 2003 to begin her career.
Dr. Sara Blakesley received her DVM from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2003. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and began her career as a veterinarian at Lone Mountain Animal Hospital. In 2011, she moved to Dewey Veterinary Medical Center where she practiced until this past December. Finally, she decided to begin a new practice of her own, Southern Hills Animal Hospital which is located in southwest Las Vegas.
